Biker Chick

Josie has become quite the biker chick lately.  This is just a sampling of what she does all over the cul de sac.  This will usually last about 20 to 30 min!

Jackie Plays "Happy Birthday"

Jackie has been taking piano for a couple of months now and things are starting to click.  She is doing well with her hand placement and she is able to read notes well.  Here she is playing "Happy Birthday". So proud of her!

All Things Easter

We had a great Easter and had fun with all the activities leading up to this past weekend. Egg hunting and egg dying were a hit. The surprise snow on Easter morning...was exciting as well! It ended up being a nice, sunny day and we even spent sometime outside enjoying bubbles, chalk and other Easter goodies.

Easter is kept pretty simple at our house and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays. Easter baskets hidden from one silly bunny and of course, going to Mass, is about the gist of it.  I love the reminders that God continues to give us this time of year, that all things are made new. 

Spring Break Part 2

Part 2 of our Spring Break took place in Omaha! The kids were so excited to get out of the house and stay in a hotel...with a pool! We also added a trip to the world famous Omaha Zoo in there.   It was a good little get away.  G&G Kennedy met us there and we spent some time with them; as well as, we happened upon some KC friends taking their Spring Break there at the same time.  Lots of good eats, ice cream trips, awesome animals and most of all family time!

Spring Break Part 1

We are back to reality after a great Spring Break with the kiddos. The first part of the week we enjoyed some great Spring like weather. We spent some time at the park, played outside with neighbor friends and even dug for worms. It was a great start to the week!

Saturday Night

It would have been almost a sin not to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather we had here on Saturday night. We took well advantage of it. A grilled dinner outside on the deck and ended the night around the fire pit!
