School's Out!!

School is out for the summer! Hooooray! We are all excited to have a break from the schedule of things around here. Both girls had such a great year at school...I just can't believe how fast it went.  They have both grown so much, in height and maturity.  Next up...2nd grade, Transitional Kindergarten and Beau will start 3 yr. Preschool in the Fall! Happy Summer!

9 Months Old

Josie turned 9 months old...about a week ago!  She is looking so grown up to me.  Her 9 month stats: Height: 27inches(25-50%) Weight: 18lbs 12oz(50%).  She grew one inch and three pounds since her last check up!  I knew that car seat seemed a lot heavier lately!

Josie has weaned to all bottles now and starting to eat lots of table foods.  She is a pretty good eater...although, sometimes she will take a bottle in the morning and than not another one until bedtime.  I guess she just likes her solids better.

She still wants to crawl so bad, but isn't there yet.  She does her little "worm" and can scoot enough to reach toys.  She will be so happy when she can get up and move!  She started clapping and imitates sounds and noises.  She also waves bye-bye!  She says, ba-ba, ga-ga, goo-goo, da-da, ya-ya...but no ma-ma yet.

She is developing quite a personality...she loves to kind of tease and plays peek-a-boo.  She loves to snuggle and gives the best kisses.

She is a decent sleeper...which has been greatly appreciated :)  She is down to two naps for the most part and she actually can hang pretty good if she doesn't stay exactly on schedule.  I guess she has no choice being the fourth child.

Josie is a pretty happy, easy-going baby.  She loves to be outside and with her siblings.  Can't wait to see what the next month will bring!

Fish Out of Water

I'm on a video kick lately!  Josie wants so bad to move...she has by far been our latest, as the other kids were crawling by nine months.  I'm ok with this thoough...our house isnt exactly baby proof with the bigger kids things laying around ;)
